How to Upload Your Files

At Nuvem Print, we make sure your files are ready for high-quality printing by automatically converting them to PDFs—no matter what format you upload. You can submit single pages, double-page spreads, or individual files. Need help preparing your files?

Cover Setup

Planning to include a cover? Keep in mind it adds four extra pages to your total count—front cover, inside front, back cover, and inside back. Make sure to account for this when setting up your file.

Bleed & Trim

To avoid white edges on your final prints, always include a 3mm bleed around all sides of your design. This is especially important for any artwork, graphics, or backgrounds that extend to the edge of the page. If your pages are blank (with no edge-to-edge design), bleed isn’t necessary.

Binding Options

Our Instant Quote Calculator automatically updates to show the most suitable binding methods based on your page count and paper weight. For instance, thicker books may qualify for Perfect Binding, while slimmer formats are often best suited for Staple or Wiro Binding.

Designing the Spine

If you’re using Perfect Binding, you have the option to upload a custom spine—either integrated into a full cover spread or as a separate PDF. Make sure to include a 3mm bleed on the top and bottom edges of your spine design. Nuvem Print will calculate your spine width automatically in your Shopping Cart and Artwork Dashboard. If no spine is included, no design will be printed on that area.
